Description
A Devilman fan art, be careful since i will do a big spoiler for everyone who didn't read the original manga.*SPOILER TIME!!!*
Ryo Asuka is tha one that warns Akira about the Deamons and their powers thanks to an ancient mask that cointans all the knowledge about the deamon history, Ryo says that his father found it on the Himalaya and that he has set himself on fire to kill the deamon who possessed his body.
This ability of deamons to become ones with items and animals can backfire with humans and that's how Ryo Asuka created Devilman, he was determined to figth the deamons and to save the humanity...too bad that it was all a lie.
Ryo Asuka wasn't who he believed to be, he was Satan himself and he let the Psychogenie hypnotize him to infiltrate humanity and get all their weaknesses, the ancient mask was just a toy covered by shiny paint.
The scene in wich the deamons come back to heir leader to give him back his memories, was one of the coolest plot twist ever and I would like to capture that moment with this deviation.
Hope you enjoy, I did a lot of experiment with this one. Xd

did you know there was supposed to be atleast 4 ovas of devilman
and amon
Apocalypse of Devilman
was supposed to be for last as the 4th ova
but unfortunatley the directors were having a silly heated argument
and the ova series went on hiatus
they finally made a new devilman 3rd ova sequel in 1999
which is amon the apocalypse of devilman(the final chapter of the devilman ova series)
however amon the apocalypse of devilman
was supposed to be the fourth ova sequel not as a 3rd sequelβ¦.
they were about to start off with the spider demons in the 3rd ova but unfortuantly they lost the script to it..so they had no choice to scrap itβ¦and they had to do amon the apoclaypse of devilman ova chapter ep 3 ova sequel

I also heard that they had a problem with the character designer death, they tought the project was cursed and they stopped it.
The 3rd OVA it's too 90's for me. XD

the ova series/project of devilman was actually on hiatusβ¦. XD i thought the 3rd sequel ova of devilman is great it had great emotinal sceanes such as when akira was seeing a horrible vision of poor miki being killed in front of his own eyesβ¦.and he couldn't protect herβ¦.i respect your opinion about the 3rd ova.

I felt that the two first OAV were much superior over the 3rd, but of course, it's better than noting and it still have personality wich it's good. ^^

yeah, but the OVA of Amon apocalipse of Devilman was good too even though it was a little different XD

I didn't really liked it, the story was pretty basic and the character design way worse, the manga Amon was a lot better.
