Description
Mixed emotions about this one.. not sure if I care to explain.watercolours, pencil, pen, marker, water
I wasn't trying to make this particularly life like, just trying to paint-out this feeling as soon as possible. Pest removal.

I wish I had your ability to know when a work is finished, when to stop. This is very very beautiful!

"I'm not a big fan of this piece at ALL, but just needed to get it out of my system. "
My guess would be that every great artist could say the exact same thing!
The best work probably HAD to come out, and it matters little what the artist thinks of it.
I am glad your painting had to be gotten out of your system, and knowing that it did makes me appreciate it all that much more
Thanks!

Y'know, this one kinda creeps me out. She looks like she's dead, or something..... I really like it, though. way you combined your media is so smooth and they just transition so well.

holy crap how did i miss this one?
the face is hugely evocative; the expression and position of the head work quite cooperatively to create a telling and empathetic picture.
good work.

This also makes me think of prayer and seems to me have some kind of religious theme. Great colors used and bleed downs.

I really like the sketch quality you give it, even though youre using paint. Very disturbing as well, particularly the dripping of color on the right side. Great work!

This caught my eye immediately. It makes me think of frailty, decay and patience. It's really cool.

I like the unfinished part of the painting. I feel like it is demonstrating a headache or something. Like a piece of that person thought process is lost and not coming back. I viewed your entire gallery and this is by far the strongest piece in it. Maybe I'm partial to figures, but you still captured something in this that none of your other pieces did. Very nice work.

I like it... it reminds to some shiele's paiting... we can create a nice artwork only when our feeling are involved in the creation. Otherwise the work is always insip and sterile..

i particularly like the fact that it seems to be unfinished, yet any adjustments that would be made , would diminish its power....
nice...

This is beautiful. The expression you have managed to create on her face is amazing. She doesn't look blank, but she looks like her spirit is being taken away from her. The white in the corner manages to do that; it is like the white is overtaking and destroying her. I am not sure about the hair though. That is one detail that distracted me a bit. I do love the depth and expression shown in the brushstrokes. Very good work.
