Description
A texture test of ISOP's Maid Dress for A3, available at Poser Penthouse.
I made the textures myself, using some lace swatches found on the internet.

I do have to admit the texturing job is very good. I guess this shows the true potential of utilizing a free 3D clothing model in terms of texture...

I have someone all ready going through Alpha testing with the first series of textures.
And I managed to make some revisions ot the package to make it work, look, and present better to all if I eventually release it.
I don't know if you wanna Beta Test it it for me...

The hardest part was getting the transmaps to look right.
I had tried a variation of the one seen here, but it was designed to be more transparent.

By the way, if your looking for some really cool textures that can be Surface-Tabbed into almost anything, go over to PlanetVixen and grab some of their stuff. Even their freebies are really cool, I use the Toxic costume in parts for all sorts of things. AND they come with over 100 textures that very often work with a variety of other costumes. I've re-textured all sorts of things using them. AND their pay-for costumes are really awesome too.

Some of the textures I think are coolest unfortunately seem to be combinations of some sort. I'd love to figure out how they do the see-through plastic ones for instance. And the fish-net.

I played with the maid outfit a bit today, just getting a feel for it mainly. The shoes seemed painful to work with though. They didn't really fit the foot well. Pft, as usual. "I" was having trouble that probably nobody else had.

No, I have that problem, too.
There one of two ways to rectify that issue.
One: Select Aiko's Feet and Toes, as well as the feet and toes of the stockings, and make them 100% Petite in the Parameters tab.
Two: Use a another set of shoes. I use BD Half Boots, VinceBagna(?)s Classy Shoes or the Thigh High Boots from DAZ.

I tried that, it worked to get the stockings to fit properly, but the shoes still didn't work. But like you said, I have several other options for foot-wear, including several awesome boots from PlanetVixen. I didn't try making her feet petite and then adding in the shoes fresh though, so that might work.

That's why in my Promotional Image, I'm using something other than the shoes included with the Maid Set.

It took me some time to get the transmaps for this uniform to work the way I wanted them to.
Then I remembered the golden rule of transmapping: "White is Opaque, Black is Transparent, and Grey is Translucent."
And now, we has pretty picture!
