Quite large for an un-evolved Pokémon, Carnine are very friendly and love to cuddle. They have the ability to retract their limbs into wheels in order to travel at speed, though they tend to easily lose control. If small enough, one can actually sit inside the torso of a Carnine, although it is not recommended to allow it to drive on any major roads.

As for why it's a dog, there's a chain of busses in Ireland and the mascot is a Red Setter, a type of dog
