Theorised to have been stranded in caves due to the change in the level of the ocean from prehistoric times, this once scrawny scavenger adapted to fall on it's prey from the roof of caves, rather than wait for it's prey to drift down to it.

So in the real world, deep sea fish develop massive jaws and glowing body parts in order to attract whatever little prey they can. Now imagine there is a levitating eel that lives on the roof of caves, but instead of waiting for prey to come to it, it comes to the prey, by falling on them. It also has buzzsaw shaped teeth. Ouch.

For some reason, considering the nature of Seeling and Mawsaum, I think it would have something to strengthen its critical hits in some form. Considering its predetermined Levitate ability, I've opted to come up with a signature move for the evolution line.
