Description
Finally, the sun is back! And so will be my posts!I woke up early this morning to go visit an old sulfuric acid and chemicals factory, it was really hard to discretly gain access to this place, but I am proud to announce I did it!
I then spended quite a moment exploring and taking photos.
Something new will be built on this place, and I probably was one of the last person to go here (but not the first one to ever take photos of the building-)
A lot of the ground-space was flooded, due to the rain we got last month, and this water can sometimes be pretty deep..! (actually, I walked in and got drenched up to the ankle)

This is cool! It's kind-of disorienting, how perfect those reflections are.

Thank you! I had some fun noticing that even if the picture is put upside down, it still looks pretty much the same

Thank you! It looked nice but was actually quite dangerous...

I have a couple of pieces of 'light industrial dereliction' from Lille in our own collection aegiandyad.deviantart.com/gall⦠. This was opposite the entrance to Le Jardins des Plantes in Lille. No one does industrial dereliction, or botanical world heritage sites, quite like the French.

An outstanding derelict interior, imaginatively photographed.

Thank you very much, the reflections provided by the flooded floor was one of the things I really was hoping to see, due to all the rain we've get during the last month
I also tried to put the picture upside down, and was happily surprised of the result (my girlfriend told me it was looking like the inside of a space station)
Anyway, thank you for commenting, I'll go take a look at your gallery!
