*edit* tried to fix the hand that some people pointed out - let me know if it helped */edit*currently up for voting via [link] at threadless. show some love
the whole thing basically started as a photocollage in photoshop, then outlines were done in illustrator with the pen tool and paintbrush tool.

This is so amazing, but her right (our left) hand up in the air looks kind of odd. It looks like either:
-You put her thumb on the wrong side and her palm is facing down, or
- Her hand is tilted back to an unnatural degree.
I would take another look at it and change the positioning a little bit, otherwise it looks just awesome!

I agree with the comment about the hand. It looks right now like it's on backwards or the fingers are bent back or something. Very cool concept! I'm almost surprised I've never seen anything like this before, but I haven't

It looks slightly better, but it's still not right. I would suggest you try positioning your own hand like that and looking at it. I can't really describe the subtle mispositioning. At any rate, if you just want to leave it, it's not a huge deal, I mean maybe octopus women have hands like that.

yup, the hand is supposed to bend backward - i had a couple of version and this one was actuelly by far the best - for me its clear how it is working, but i also understand the issue in general. i will see if i can make it work better.

I love the high contrast colours you used. They create a great atmosphere and really fit well with the design.

I love it all except for her right hand.
It looks a bit odd. I think it needs a touch more detail in the palm area to help clarify the angle of it. Otherwise it looks like a deformity.

Helps a bit more with the blue shading in it.
I think more what I had in mind was those crease lines in people's palms. You don't see those on the exterior of a hand, so adding in a crease line or two helps indicate that it's the palm and that it's angled. That was all.

i actually tried that, but it looked even more weird - since there are no fine lines in the rest of the composition it looked really bad
