The posing is a little off, but whatever. I've never done a dancing scene with MMD before. I know it looks odd in their casual wear, but neither of them have formal attire for MMD.
For those whom have never played FFVIII, Squall CAN dance. He has to learn various skills as a SeeD for subterfuge, and dancing is one of them.
Yeah, I know: my effects make no sense. PicMonkey will only let me use the really good ones if I make an account - and I think that costs money. So...yeah, I'm limited with that site.

You could get MME effects. Like MMD, it's free and can work with all versions of the program. There are tutorials for it and a bunch of effects on deviantart. I just got them recently, but I rarely use them. You might get a little more use out of them though.

No, I have MME. It's just that, some of the effects don't seem to work anymore. I don't know why. Others I don't understand how to use. It's kind of confusing, and frustrating.

I fear it'll take quite a while. The first chapter isn't finished yet, and my beta, although really great, is not the fastest - though that actually works well for me, since university will eat quite some of my time, so I can't communicate with her every day anyway.
But no worries, it shouldn't be too long. Maybe a month or so
