And, to answer your question (if I understand correctly): I just don't feel like doing anything else. I only have the motivation and desire to edit with MMD right now. I've practically quite video editing and writing has, once again, waned in interest for now.
Besides, I find MMD a little more fun and fulfilling, I guess. I can not only create something, but I can actually see what I envision come to life right before my eyes. It's an accomplishment I've never been able to fully reach through any other forms of editing. It's a nice change.
