Personality: Derodero is a very arrogant man as he considers himself the best fighter in the world (Although only number two in the Twelve Killers). Although he sees others as inferior to him, he appreciates strong fighters. Derodero hates swordsmen, because in his opinion they are "glorious egotists who think they are the best just because they know how to handle a sword", therefore he is disgusted by swordsmen he sees and kills them mercilessly. He loves to be mean and likes to do bad things to others.

History: Derodero had been raised to be a Marine since he was a child. When he turned 20 he was promoted to Vice Admiral and fought against evil. But the more he fought against it, Derodero began to like evil. He resigned from the Navy and became a criminal, in time Boll heard about the former Vice Admiral of the Marines and decided to track him down. When Boll finally found Derodero he recruited him as a mercenary. Derodero agreed because he was poor and hungry for too long (he was hiding for a long time in the Marines). Boll and Massacres attacked as Solana, Killing all who stood in their way. Leo and his most loyal Warriors protected Rosana and Adam from escaping. When Boll found out that Adam was still alive, he began an eternal manhunt to track down, find and kill Rocks D. Adam. Thanks to the government's information, Boll found Adam and decided to Asyland the kingdom. Although Derodero was victorious, Zoro managed to defeat him.
