Personality: Jerome has an extremely strong belief that the Mariens are evil and that their military sea force, tasked with law enforcement, international security is a mere lie to win the trust of civilians. Therefore, whenever he attacks the islands (only those with a Marine base) he starts using Propaganda speech against the Marines. Jerome is one of the most cruelest men in the world, as he attacks mercilessly and kills / executes every Maries. The most horrible is the Jerome execution method which many people think is more of a slaughter because they are killed in a horrible way. He is also a sadist towards Maries because before the "execution" he orders his crew to peel Marie alive. Because of his past, Jerome hates Maries, and thinks they are lower and despicable than pirates. He’s even the ones who like Maries, because if he sees someone like Marines or says something good about them, Jerome kills this cruelly and mercilessly. Because of this, he gives to civilians (i.e. those who live on the same island as the Marine base) prove that they are not on the Marines side. If they agree to kill the Marines they will be spared and he will tell propaganda in mind how the Marines are liars and killers. But if they don’t agree, Jerome considers them Marines friends and executes them too, this proves more of Jerome’s cruelty as he doesn’t pity old people, women, or children. Jerome is very careful about his authority because he will not tolerate if any of his subordinates stumble or question his commands, and reach out. Because of this, Jerome kills the questioners painfully. Jerome doesn’t believe in friendship and companionship and says they are only for the weak and fools, this makes him Luffy for many reasons to hate him. Jerome angers his opponents by doing horrible things before their eyes, To make Luffy's angry, he damage his straw hat, and hurt his crewmates and friends. Jerome is also ruthless as he is ready to use any means to destroy the Marines. Eg communicable diseases, biological weapons. And is willing to sacrifice its own crew members to accomplish its goal. Jerome doesn't use other Haki because he thinks so Kenbunsholu Haki is more useful, especially when he is a Logia user

History: Jerome grew up in a Marines-protected city somewhere in the New World. He had been raised to keep the Marines, so he had been told to believe and trust the Marines. Jerome was even told of the Marines ’feats and that they are heroes protecting the sea. Because of these, Jerome considered and admired the Marines as a child, and wanted to be a Marines soldier when he grew up. But unfortunately for Jerome and the townspeople, the corrupt Commodore ZZ became the new commander of the Marine base. He portrayed a kind and heroic, but in reality he was a bribe to the World Noble who promised to make the townspeople new slaves to the World Nobles for a "small" fee. He attacked the city with his own ward (which, like ZZ, could be corrupted and bribed) and the townspeople abducted all the residents and their families, and the fighters were killed. Jerome was the only one who escaped but this left a big scar on his heart as he felt that the Marines had betrayed him. The trauma had turned into hatred for the Marines because, in a public place, he stabbed to death the Marines admiring child in a public place. No one dared stop him because the anger had turned him so scary that they felt like he would kill them too if they tried to get in his way. Jerome vows to destroy the Marine, and to kill every Marines. Over the years, he founded Anti Marine Pirates, who only attack Marines bases and an island with a Marine base.
