This is another nice work for the emoticon gallery.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/d/d… " width="21" height="15" alt="
" title="I am a dummy!" />
For a 2nd attempt in emoticons, I can't say more than "Awesome!!!".
The animation is very smooth, and the clouds moveing on the sky is a very nice, unexcepted, detail.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c… " width="20" height="20" alt="
" title="Clap" /> Still, everything is ruined by the ending. When the animation ends, a green emote suddenly appears. That's no good.
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" title="No, I disagree!" />The green emote should come "into the scene" the same way he does on his second comeing.
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="19" height="19" alt="
" title="La la la la" /> ALSO, you should add some frames at the end - you may, for example, animate a scene where the blue emote wakes up and goes away.
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/o/o… " width="46" height="34" alt="
" title="I'm on fire!" />My english is kinda poor, but I hope you'll understand what I mean. It just ends too fast, and as it's a very special animation, with pretty much frames, it badly surprises the watcher.
The background is awesome - nothing else to say about that.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="23" height="23" alt="
" title="w00t!" />
The emotes are vey well shaded, but a bit of lighting will make them perfect - on both the hands and the bodies.
If you want, you can also do some tests and you may improve the blues. You may also improve the walking, but to me it looks good.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" title="Nod" />
The idea is very original - and of cuorse, TOTALLY AMUSEING - I've never saw something like this on dA before.
Let's remember this is your second emote, =deadlyMETAL . GOOD JOB AND KEEP GOING!a.deviantart.net/avatars/t/a/t… " alt=" " title="tardboogieplz"/>

Thank you very much for the honest and helpful review. I've considered your suggestions (and I've heard the same from others) and am now reworking it to add an ending. I'm going to try to lighten the hands for the emotes, but the lighting on their bodies might not change - that I'm just thinking I'll leave the same. I think the only real challenge with this next and hopefully last update will be looping the clouds: I hadn't thought of looping them at the time!
Again, thank you. This was very generous in both positive remarks and helpful pointers.

Thanks! It's probably going to get ooooone more update before I'll say it's finally finished. Just need to loop it appropriately.

I'd have to agree it looks nice but would look better iff you added a couple more frames to get the blue guy off screen

Yeah, I'll be looking into a proper ending that'll loop the entire scene around.

This is a very smooth and pretty emote! Pretty is actually a fairly important quality because it shows that you took the time to polish it up before submitting it. I have two minor recommendations for this piece: First, the brown thing that drops that the purple guy runs into (which is great physical comedy) doesn't go all the way down, and I don't know if that was intentional or not but that little space was bugging me just a tiny bit. Again, no biggie. The second recommendation is that this emote would be PERFECT if it looped - which, I understand, is difficult. However, in general the animation would look, as a whole, a lot smoother with even just the purple guy shaking himself off and bouncing offscreen to reset the emote. The little scene depicted in this emote is hilarious, and the physical comedy came out great, so nice job!
^Again with the fail. Critique as a comment.

Thanks for the supportive yet honest critique, again! I think I have an idea of how I might just finish this one out that'll make it loop. However, I won't be started on it until late tonight or tomorrow.
As for the falling door, that little white space was actually supposed to be the metal plate footer on the door, but it obviously wasn't dark enough to distinguish itself from a space. I'll darken that up so it's a proper metal gray bottom to the door.
Again, thank you!
