Moonlight is an Adventure/Tragedy RWBY Fanfiction which concerns the mystery of the moon and the Dust that fell from it during the early days of life. RWBY and her friends get caught up in ordeal after ordeal, facing mental and physical trauma against the obstacles that lie ahead. Unknown Grimm named the Pendragons rise from the Forest of Fable; bear like lizards that are master illusionists and the key to the Moon. Sifting through what is real and what is fake, Ruby must find her answer.

Weiss is forced to fight alone when Blake discovers how to manipulate the moonstones directly with no ill effects. However, this is at the cost of her use as a team member temporarily, and Weiss holds the monsters off, using Blake's half of her Gambol Shroud as a keepsake and an entrustment to ensure her friend still took a part of the battle. Mimicing Ren and Nora's strategy in the past; the use of weapons not usually wielded by the user can lead to more devistating techniques, with a greater risk of missing the target.
