Honestly, I look at this and almost want to delete it. I get faves on this every now and then bringing up the depth of my gallery.
I can't say I could have done better because that was my best at the time.
The pencil lines are terrible, the shading on her neck has a line that ruins that, the angle is terrible on the bench, her dress isn't settled correctly, her hands don't exist and her arms are 2D as the rest gives dimension.

As I watched, the graceful Pokemon sits there, lacking motion. It had a sweet smile. It looked as if she is waiting for someone. I shrugged and left it alone.
The next day, I saw her again at the same spot still there. Still waiting. And the day after that. The time of her wait took away her smile. Finally I worked the courage to walk up to her. Even when I'm beside her, she still didn't notice me. It was at this proximity that I notice the severity of her malnutrition. This Gardevoir was almost thin to her bones. She hasn't eaten for days. Heck, she haven't even moved from her spot.
"Garde..." It said. I got quite curious. What is she saying? Thanks to Devon Corporation, I had the translator. I turn the dial to match the frequency of Gardevoir and was horrified at the truth coming at the headset.
"Master... I wait here as you told me." A single tear rolled from her eyes. but there are traces that it had cried several times before. "Why haven't you come back for me?"
This Gardevoir... was abandoned.

"I don't think he's coming back for you." I said it nonchalantly. the Pokemon turned to regard me surprised, finally noticing me. "I remember the only Gardevoir trainer that came to this town. He left a week ago."
Her head hung low. "He's just punishing me." Her words sounded doubtful. "Unlike my teammates, I was the weakest. I always lost." I can see that she was about to cry. "But I learned my lesson. He'll come back for me. You'll see."
Still hopeful. "Pfft. You're no weak at all. Your master was suckered by the local trainers on a dare to pit you against their ghost Pokemon. They're resistant to your psychic attacks. It's not a wonder that you lost." I recalled seeing one of his fights. Seen the Gardevoir took tremendous pounding from a simple Haunter. She was bruised all over, stumbling and about to fall. Only her loyalty kept her going, even when he wasted bottle after bottle of potion to keep her in the fight. I remembered his frustrated face when he left the Poke-Mart one night, mad at the cost to resupply and blames it on the Pokemon, failing to see that he was the cause of his lost.
"It wasn't a fight. It was torture. Damn depressing. You're a powerful Pokemon in the hands of an idiot."
The Pokemon snapped at my remark. A ball of dark energy forms at her hands. "Don't you dare speak ill of my master!" But it was just for show. Her strength is spent. The ball fizzed out to nothing. All she could do is to glare, and cursing me in her mind. "I admire your loyalty." I hand her one of my groceries, a bag of onigiri. "If you believe that your master will come back for you, you should keep your strength." She accepted it without and without a word, I left her there, the loyal Pokemon wishfully waiting for the return of her master.
I wonder if she'll be there tomorrow?

yea, her master left her at the daycare for a while and she isn't used to it. kinda like going to school for the first time ;-; made me cry, no lie. first day of school i cried for like 20 minutes. not like HOLY SHIT! SCREAM MOTHAFUCKA crying but like subtle...yea i liked the way she turned out ^-^ i gotta think buz though, thanks to his kirlia Tia i wouldn't be able draw the dress like that
