lex's version of the Omnitrix call the deadatrix which can hold and collect alien, monster and other DNA.

and for all who know lex know lex is a shapeshifter so this is not necessary but he uses it for fun and for his human friends to feel what it is like as a non-human and for nonhuman friends to feel what it is to be human.
