Regardless of my usual miserable spite in drawing flowers, I was actually quite taken by the pictures of black dragon iris, and really enjoyed this one. Sometimes I wish flowers would bite the ankles of passerby, though. I can always dream my beautiful dreams.It was quite hard to scan this one, because it's bigger than my scanner, so excuse any offs.
Also, fullview is quite massive, but I think it's necessary since there are some very nice details and without the largeness they would not be visible.

Wow, perfect is an understatement with this one. The forms are all so convincingly dimensional, yet delineated in such unexpected detail as to go a few levels beyond suspending disbelief.
And you say that all those perfect little lines are _penstrokes_??
