perfect insect macrophotography.
The shown picture perfectfully reflects a net of wasps of different lifeperiods (larvae, adult) and its natural state(I cant be 100 percent sure if this is a young colony started by a newly mated queen but quite alike). Main part, the larvae (pointing out the theme of 'baby nature') was shot such skilledly carefully that you feel just like on your palms the meaty, transparent touch of their roly-poly fatty bodies. And of course the net rooms of octagon, the adult individual nursing and nurturing. Background was chosen as simple and dim, in order to feature the central theme.
If there has to be any visual 'inconvinience', I presume that shall be the somehow unbalanced position arrangement, slightly causing the visual center of mass too 'leftside-tending'. Nevertheless should this be on purpose, no need to care.
Love it a lot! Especially to an animal-lover like me!

This had me thinking of a cartoon that I saw in a magazine years ago. A female wasp is talking to her husband and saying, "That does it, George! I'm going home to mother and taking the grubs with me!"

It's a wonderful picture, I'm half wondering how you managed to get it so the image was not blurred.

Wasp larvae is the nastiest thing I've ever seen in my life... I almost threw up when investigating those XPPP My chickens LOVE to eat them, though.
But nice shot C: Way closer than I'd ever be to a wasp nest XD

Thanks! Tamron Macro 90mm for a Canon body. I honestly can't remember what I had the f stop at. Doesn't it usually say in the picture details? Thanks again.

I would've been so nervous to take this shot, wasps are one of my only insect fears. The outcome is astounding though, great job!
