Description Just a study... This is her face. "What makes a pretty face pretty to me," I wonder.

One thing I did learn from this is how different faces can look with expressions. With a smile, people tend to tilt their head up or down. The cheeks look wider, and creases form from squinting and raising your cheeks.

You should check out the proportions of the Golden Triangle. =3= The prettier someone is, the more their face fits within the Golden Triangle proportions.

That is an interesting concept. Still, I cannot merely accept ideas that attempt to use mathematics to explain beauty. Fractals do tend to famously show up in beautiful things. Even so, that notion seems far too extraneous to explain my feelings about beauty (that countless people disagree with). When it comes to something this random, I think a per case approach is more appropriate. : )

Do you have a good source where I can find everything I need?

It depends on the type of learner you are.

I haven't found a single source that does it for me by itself. My sources are:

1) My face. I take pictures of myself in poses and make expressions.

2) I literally just google things and follow tutorials on dA/youtube (Sycra, Knkl, etc). XD

I can send you my references for this study, or I can send you tutorials I use?

That's a hefty subject. I'm currently taking anatomy (Biol 20) in college. You only want to learn the important structures for art though, right? There is a bulk of information about anatomy you may never need for art.Β

I recommend Sycra for basic art relevant anatomy.
