The way she's sitting, Rainbow does look like she has a little tummy. I find it almost weird how the ponies seem like they're all drawn with the same body shape, yet I usually have my own head-canon about how they appear:
Twilight: A little pudgy, due to not being very athletic
Rainbow Dash: Sleek and fit
Applejack: A little bulky, partly from muscle
Rarity: Attractively curvy
Fluttershy: Slim and delicate
Pinkie Pie: Plumper than the others, but not by much

Yeah, well the show is made in Flash so all of the main ponies (and a lot of the background ones) are built off of an identical body to make it easier to animate.
If it were traditionally animated though, I'd say that those body types would be pretty appropriate!
