revamp of the rahkshi Turahkmostly just added different legs and put the old legs on the arms

this is actually a major improvement for the Rahkshi. I like the decision to sue Vakama Hordika's weapon as the 'active' end, though I think I still prefer the normal Turahk end.

that#s brilliant. You know, I do wish they'd done decent re-releases isntead of those stars chibis. The yellow Rahkshi owuld have been great at the decent size. I still remember being so miffed at the Glatorian style Hau.

i found out LEGO wasnt making any more bionicle right after the last series of glatorian came out so i never got any
plus most of'em looked dumb and the plastic was brittle an crap

the brittle plastic thing started with the Mahri, from what I can tell. It's a shame, since it basically means only the first half of the Bionicle line can last. Hahli was the first to go, with her lime green joints snapping. Then Tahu, Gali...I thinik I've had more luck with the Mistika, but not much. The Av-Matoran arm and leg pieces were too brittle.
I also wish they hadn't discontinued the Kanohi line. They never got enough money from them, so why didn't they just give a packet in each set? I just feel like it would have been great for them to release "Matoran" boxes where you get a Matoran of a certain colour, and its Kanohi is any great or noble kanohi in the colours appropriate to it (i.e a Ta-Matoran would have a yellow, black, orange or red mask). So many wasted opportunities.
And on that note, why didn't we get an ACTUAL Karzahni set...
I'm going off on a tangent here, but you get my point. Green dude? You mean Kongu Inika or Mahri? Mine lasted a bit longer.
The Glatorians are where I got angry, though. Not just because of the plastic, but because of the masks/helmets. I wanted more Kanohi instead of those. And Hero Factory is still doing the same thing. Then again, at least with HF they have 'returned' to the Glatorian heads rather than the hideous things the 2.0/3.0s had.
Hero Factory also uses a tougher plastic, but I don't like it - it limits the possibilities. THe parts in HF just aren't good enough, they're too simple. I want to see them go back to the first Bionicle's plastic so we can join two hand pieces with a 1x1 cross-axle or something.
Sigh, the fargone days. Then again, considering Bionicle has such a huge following, it makes you wonder why they don't try a reboot or something. Mm, maybe not a reboot, but a revival of some kind. Release some MOCs as official sets (like a smaller Miserix titan) and stuff. or even sell "Mask Making Packs" which include mask parts with little pins to connect them that you can then glue and paint into custom masks or something.

Anyway, enough moping, I have a hive to make. Have you seen them? Kwixne is the Queen Bee so to speak, and then there's Guardian, her once-loyal servant, and right now I'm uploading a completely scratch-built Rahi MOC that's one of her workers, an "Anethe".

A revamp is a complete major upgrade of an entire bionicle/lego creation in almost every aspect if not in all respects.

That's alright, just try to make sure you don't call something a revamp that isn't. Because that can lead to angry comments from other MOCers, lol. I almost made that mistake as well, but I made sure of what I was saying by asking the really good builders.
