The development of newtype use mobile suits by Neo Zeon e
ventually came down to reintroducing one of Zeon’s most powerful one year war era mobile suits the MS-14 Gelgoog. Since Zaku was reintroduced in the form of the AMX-011 Zaku III and there were a number of gelgoogs being reused and upgraded into MS-014J REGelgu. Neo Zeon engineers and Haman herself decided the way to boost morale is to create a newtype use Gelgoog.

The Gelgoog would be known as the Psycomu use Gelgoog or Psyco Gelgoog. Its mobility and reaction speed are enhanced beyond the majority of Neo Zeon mobile suits including the AMX-004 Qubeley thanks to numerous powerful thrusters. The mobile suit is so agile and mobile to the point where only newtypes could handle it. It is equipped with a new beam assault rifle with further range and settings where it could serve as a normal beam rifle or rapid fire machine gun. It also is equipped with six funnels stored in the back skirt in a similar way to the Qubeley. The Shield is similar to the commander MS-14 Gelgoog Marine Commander Type.

Armaments
Beam Assault Rifle
Beam assault rifle developed primarily for the Psyco Gelgoog.It can either be fired in one shot like a traditional beam rifle or in automatic fire.

Beam Naginata Kai
The upgraded version of the MS-14 Gelgoog’s twin beam saber. The original functions such as generating one blade at a time at each end are still present. However for surprise attack purposes a wire is built into the hilt of the beam sword so the pilot can either throw the sword or manipulate it for an unexpected attack.

Funnel
Same funnels used by the Qubeley only had far less of them to make more room for the thrusters.

Special Equipment & Features
Psycommu System
During the One Year War, the researchers of the Flanagan Institute discover that Newtypes emit powerful thoughtwaves - similar to regular brainwaves, but not electrical in nature - which they call psycho-waves. The Flanagan Institute goes on to develop a mind-machine interface called the psycommu (psycho-communicator) system, which receives these thoughtwaves and translates them into computer commands. Using this interface a Newtype pilot can direct remote weapons, and operate huge mobile armors, by thought alone. The Principality forces based at the asteroid Axis succeed in miniaturizing the psycommu system, so that it can be installed in regular-sized mobile suits like the AMX-004 Qubeley.

History
The mobile suit had the unfortunate history of being developed along side the AMX-004G Qubeley Mass Production Type. Neo Zeon engineers decided ultimately to place more attention on the Qubeley due to Glemy Toto’s plan to revolt against Hamman. The Psyco Gelgoog was therefore produced in very few numbers. During the rebellion there were Psyco Gelgoogs that were deployed both on Hamman’s side and Glemy’s side. One of the Psyco Gelgoogs fought the FA-010S (FA-010B) Full Armor ZZ Gundam and the rest of the Gundam team to a standstill until it was destroyed by a Qubeley Mass Production type initially targeting the Full Armor ZZ Gundam.

In RC 004 the mysterious portals continually bringing in debris of technology from the past UC and other alternative universes. The masters corp originally recovered the mobile suit and butcher and the team of elite mobile drone pilots (with the help of traitors inside Masters corp) stole a few units for their personal use. Butcher equipped her Psyco Gelgoog with the HYDE system.

:iconhaganef: has some aweosme art work and I am obssessed with the gelgoog (as you can probably tell lol) so as soon as I saw this I wanted to commision . I really like the colors and the overall bulk design of the ZZ area. I completely made up this lore tonight so I'm sorry if it kind of sucks.
