I installed the new boxing girl mobius and this is what is happening. There is some sort of messed up language and then it stops. Can somebody help me?Related content

You need to go to time and region settings in control panel and change the regional language to Japanese Japan and restart your computer in order for it to work.... It was given in the instructions from where i have downloaded it... I have finished the game and the storyline is good.Β

This wont effect your computer language it will remain English as set before
If you want to know how i went through the dialogues.... You'll think I'm crazy but i was having my phone in my hand to translate each dialogue using Google translate lensπ

The problem is two-fold.Β First, you need to have the Japanese Language Pack installed on your machine.Β For Windows 10, the best set of instructions I found are here...

Those steps didn't match exactly with what I had to do, but it was close enough for me to muddle through.Β Just watch because there was a step where Windows wanted to make the newly installed language my default display language.Β Answering that wrong would not have been good.
The other thing you need to do is modify your location (or locale, as Microsoft prefers to call it).Β This can be done by modifying your operating system settings, but that's a pain because you have to modify them to play the game then switch them back afterward.Β The better option is to modify the location temporarily for the game alone.Β In older versions of Windows, AppLocale was the tool of choice for this, but that's not supported under Windows 10.Β However, there is an excellent replacement available.
Download links are at the top, and the instructions are right there on the page.Β After fumbling through the language install, getting this thing running was a snap.

Did you have any issues after downloading the locale emulator? I've tried running (as admin) in the japanese local on the game .exe file and am getting this error:Β

EDIT: apparently im getting that even when i change my locale manually to Japan... however the game seems to launch when i run it my normal english locale, it just crashes before any fights start..

Oh boy are we screwed.
I forgot about that part.Β When I unzipped the game, it ended up inside a folder labeled with Japanese characters.Β Locale Emulator doesn't like those characters, at all.Β The good news is that the problem is easy to solve.Β If you look inside the folder with the weird characters, you'll find one labeled in English...BoxingGirls MOBIUS.'Β The game itself is completely contained within that folder.Β All you need to do is move that folder out of the Japanese-labeled folder.Β Launching the game with Locale Emulator should work fine after that.

That's correct.Β As of now, only the menus are available in English.Β It makes playing the story mode somewhat tedious (and also a little bit mysterious 
All that said, it's still a pretty decent game.

Des your computer have a Japanese locale or nah?
Because if it doesn't all those characters are Japanese that couldn't be processed correctly causing that garbled mess
