Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy Commission for the ever patientIt's finally Finished. That was good practice. I'll add descriptions later. For now I Rest before working on other commissions.

What this picture does is bust open the warhammer stereotype. In every fan art and cover illustration the Warhammer40k soldiers are uncaring, often faceless killing machines (if you read the flavor text, they really are that way) but you've shown that in a future where mankind is constantly at war, the emotion can cut through the numbness and still show humanity beneath.
Blood for the blood god? Sure but who's?

I used to play that game all the time. I really did not like the space marines. >>
Overall, I like the way the painting looks, but it doesn't have quite the clarity that the inquisition and space marine army and the world around them holds. Sharper objects and colder colors would have fit for me.
