Reality. Perception. Things that are always uncertain. Dreams of a trapped man are uncertain, full of perceived freedom but with hints of harsh reality. But the question being if such a man be allowed freedom when it will never be his reality.

Kieron felt everything falling away. Dissolving into the silk clouds around him. The only reality was the comfort of the loosened leather of his suit, the hated straps faded away into air.

He wasn’t dead; reality clung close, but only as a fraying thread. If he had passed he would finally be able to see his love again, the sweet girl with blue eyes and red hair. They would sit in front of the television and watch a movie, like he had promised the night before his capture.
Her touch was in the white strands of fabric lying over him, a kiss on his lips, her fingertips lightly caressing the pain away.

Her eyes pervaded through the clouds but Kieron closed his eyes, not wanting to leave the light. If he saw her, everything would turn inky black and turn into nightmares. To see her, to dare contemplate her fate would do nothing but turn him into broken glass that would cut anything that came near.

It was so much easier to drift into nothingness, floating upon memories of happy feelings. To perceive any more would be reality, and perception is always uncertain.

But just to be quick: Kieron is a character that is kept in constant bondage and this picture represents his dreams of freedom, but even in his dreams there is still a thread of reality.

I will eventually write a story for him(already have a few scenes written in terms of general ideas) but who knows.*shrug* College life as an architecture student is busy, busy, go, go.
