You can get it for Steam, PS4, XBox One and Switch.

Why more on Switch I don't know, probably because it's the newest version (released just a couple weeks ago, the delay due to conversion complications, I believe) and comes with one of the DLC's added from the start while you had to buy it for the others.
I have the Switch version, but whichever version you get is up to you.
Stores like Target, Walmart and Gamestop are your best bet for physical copies. Digital versions are found in the respective online shops for each platform.

If there's one flaw I'd have to say is it's SO addictive I've already beaten it, DLC chapters included (minus all of the Seal the Deal missions).

IDK how to activate the Peace and Tranquility Badge on the Switch

If it's the one I think you're talking about, it activates when you have Hat Kid dance.
Press up & down on the D-Pad consecutively in quick fashion and she'll start dancing. With the badge equipped you'll enter Peace & Tranquility mode.
