Description I watch as everything I know
is utterly destroyed
by the hand of a being
I have always loathed and feared.

The only reason I'm spared
as this thing destroys mankind
is because I was stupid and dared
to unleash a horror of this kind.

And as much as I want to stop it
something holds me back
I call myself a coward and stupid
for fearing that creature clad in black.

If you wish to know the name
of this most evil of beings
then I'll tell you this
that creature is me.
