Description
Another random spaceship. This one is a deep space recon ship, the spiked spheres floating around it are defensive mines. This was a pen and ink sketch, coloring in photoshop. Total time on this one was about an hour.There is definitely a lot of the Voyager from Star Trek in this one, though that was not intentional. I just kinda wanted to draw a sleek, streamlined ship.

Now you mention it, I do see the resemblance with the USS Voyager. But before, I saw more Mon Calamari from Star Wars - it seems to have very aquatic lines, in my eyes. The colour attenuates it.

Damn, I just love spaceships me! This is nice. The style reminds me of early Frank Miller, like "Ronin".

Thanks! Spaceships rock! Miller, eh? I haven't even glanced at Ronin in years, but I did just re-read The Dark Knight Returns a couple of months ago, so it could be lurking in the subconscious somewhere
