You pretty much have it spot on, too. I was trying to make it kind of like a frozen moment in time, a happy memory sort of thing.

And it's wonderful that you've read the books! (Well, I assume you have from your comment. Either you've read them or you made an extremely good guess as to the character's personalities and backgrounds. )

You totally got that feeling! And the 'frozen moment' thing is captured especially with Sandry, I think, because she's mid-movement - it's not like they all posed in a tableau or something

And yes, I've read the books! I read them years and years ago along with the rest of TP's books, and she's been my favourite author ever since. It must have been more than a decade by now, which just makes me feel old... Although it would be kind of cool if I could say I just guessed everything

And before you ask, the Niko in my head is, like, SIGNIFICANTLY younger than the one in the books. I missed the age description the first time and just couldn't change my original image afterwards...

But yes, he is so wonderfully and marvellously delightful! He's laidback, and funny, and REALLY TALL, and brave and heroic and just such a darling, and nice to Kel because he genuinely doesn't care that she's a girl when she's as good as the boys, and he's caring and N'AWWWWWWWW! *flails in joy*


Oh, George is lovely too though, but like you say, not as much. *hides from George* Sorry, dear.

AND NEAL. WHAT A BABE. Although I love Dom too, and him and Neal have some AMAZING interactions - really funny but also so adorable and family-like. AND WHEN THEY HUG. I totally died of the squee.

GAHHH! I typed out a really long reply to this... and then my computer decided to quit internet explorer!

Long story short:
Raoul= perfect
Kel Books have the most amazing adorable guys in them, more than all of TP's other books
Neal and Dom= *GLOMP*
Dom/Kel= waaaaaay better than Cleon/Kel

And I also like Rosto, from the Beka series. Just for being so badass
