I'm just going to post the Tumblr commentary for this here. I might be posting a few artworks here again, since Tumblr's been shitting me off lately.

Shameless promotion time!

This started out as a shitty sketch because I was sick of doing illustration work and started listening to old Evanescence stuff.

Hence angsty repro sketches. One of which I felt required special treatment. Couple hours later, I had this thing.

WARNING! This fic is heavy, it includes explicit torture, rape and a fucktonne of angst. It’s hurt/comfort on steroids.

It’s pretty long, so if you want a big dark!fic to sink your teeth into you can give it a go.

It’s also about 5 years old at this point and nearing completion. So there’s the promise of new chapters fairly regularly (so long as my muse co-operates, as he has been doing for the last three or four months).

Soooo yeah. I’m quite proud of this pic. I’ve been edging more towards lineless work since my illustration project pushed me to try really new things for me.

To pre-emptively answer questions of those who’ve not read the fic yet, no he’s not sparked, no that’s not an eye, he’s in the wash-racks and they can’t get cybertronian full-sized mirrors on earth. And yes, a lot of his armour is missing, he had to take it off to clean up properly. The chapter it is from is 19 (titled 'cleaning the slate' ).

Also protip: If you have a lot of Coldplay albums you should listen to them during the later parts of the fic because half their shit is basically the soundtrack. If i had to pick a song to go with this pic it would be ‘We Never Change’.
