... hoping the file works, and it should, but my comp is being sucky so...
It's actually WIP3.5, cause i saved another png of the PSD that was called 3, but i really hadn't done enough progress wise to warrant uploading it. So here's the more worked thing.
Ive completed the base colour, next i will move onto shading, then lighting.
Since the last wip i added the green. 4 types of green to be exact The lightest on the markings, then the lightest at 50% opacity to give it a nice natural fade, then a darker green for eyes, paws and hair that i eventually put in the markings too when i ended up erasing the blacklines on them. I Thought it would be better and less sketchy looking without lineart on the markings, and im happy with the choice. Anywho, just adding green took longerthan i would have liked. The darkest green is in the mouth. Oh and the black in the hair is different o the black on the body, because when there is only three colours in a character, i find the need for tonal variety It's a blu-er black, and you won't really be able to tell the difference with the PNG anyway because it goes heaps darker than the PSD original file. Which is a little annoying, but nevermind. Hope you're liking it so far. Plus you all have lighter monitors than me so it's actually probably turning out lighter than it's supposed to for you
It's an absolutely massive file though, ive never done one this big, it's a learning curve i tells ya. But i know it's better, cause i found i was dissapointed with the quality of my first PS dragon (Gypsy) cause the resolution in print out just wasn't sharp enough. Big files=sharp pictures
