Ember and Twilight. Twilight is no relation to Twilight Sparkle. They are both from the vintage pony special 'Rescue from Midnight Castle' Ember was one of the only vintage baby pony toys released without a cutie mark, makes me glad they continued the baby ponies starting without them.Twilight to me has always been a bit of whimsical pony due to the fact that as a child she only featured in the credits of the normal ponies, she was a lot skinnier and very different to most ponies, today I have a soft spot for her.

I saw this episode today. I thought it was cute. ^^ and like you, I only saw Twilight and Ember in the credits of the MLP episodes.

I wished more of the ponies from the first special carried over into the series, I really liked them and they showed hints of having actual personalities as opposed to singular personality traits like just about all the others...

The first special deffinately had the best art and the best characters, they had different hairstyles and actions dependant on each character. Not to mention they were more creative with pony colours.
