Description
I am so tired, Father,And yet the road is still so long,
Please, mend my broken body,
So that I may walk another mile,
I am so tired Father,
I beg of you, heal my disease,
It is tearing me up from the inside,
I cannot take it anymore - so please,
I am so tired, Father,
I never truly learnt how to cry,
Yet I am shedding tears now,
As I with shaking hands, riddled with despairs,
I write this last letter to the one,
Whom I once held so close,
Only to tear it up in pieces,
And throw them at the wind,
Maybe someone, somewhere,
Will pick up the pieces and
string them together once again,
For I cannot do it myself,
Oh Father, my disease,
It pains so much, all too much,
Oh - yet I deserve it,
To be rotting under the merciless twin suns,
I am so tired, Father,
My wounded legs cannot carry me anymore,
I am so tired, Father,
Oh, Nevermore, Nevermore,
I am going under, no way back now,
Ashes to ashes, I am falling dust to dust in
the rusty sands of Kharondirr,
And so shall the twin suns forever burn my body
and finally lift this disease from my soul?
I am so tired, Father...
