Description
(feel free to ask questions c: )1. Iron Maiden. My favourite band ever. Their music is simply amazing etc. etc. Also, their mascot, Eddie (pictured), is inspiring in a sort of twisted way.
2. Monty Python. 'Nuff said.
3. V for Vendetta. Even though the picture shows both the film and comic book "versions" of V, I definitely prefer the comic book one. The film was fucking amazing as a film, but it sucks as a comic book adaptation. Still my third favourite film, though, after Sherlock Holmes 2009 and Inception.
4. The Legend of Zelda. Even though the Ocarina of Time logo is on the picture, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker inspire me more. I do love Ocarina of Time, though.
5. Clocks/gears/time. I've always been fascinated with the concept of time. And gears look cool.
6. PokΓ©mon. Yeah.
7. =Test-Tube-Baby 's art.
8. *queenston 's music, and the The Revenge of Doctor Q album in particular.
9. House, M.D. the TV show. Incredibly fascinating medical soap comedy drama.
10. Edgar Allan Poe.
11. Okami, the game. The most amazing video game I've ever played; the only games I can think of that might be better are Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the The Legend of Zelda series. But personally I prefer Okami, because it has a more unique art style and a great battle system.
12. Steampunk!
13. Psychology/psychiatry. I can sit on Wikipedia for hours, reading about schizophrenia, DID, etcβ¦
14. The Sandman series/the character Morpheus. Best comic book I've ever read, if I don't count V for Vendetta.
15. *Altalamatox 's art.
16. Inception. Just.. Amazing. My favourite film.
17. The Victorian age. Also Victorian fashion.
18. The Professor Layton games. I love the art style and the stories.
19. Bruce Dickinson, vocalist and occasional song writer in Iron Maiden. Amazing voice, amazing lyrics, etc. etc.
20. Sherlock Holmes 2009, my second favourite film. Also the film that convinced me that "fuck that Robert Downey Jr guy is awesome," which in turn made me watch Iron Man, which is probably in my film top-ten.
21. *squeedgemonster 's art.
22. Keith Thompson's art; www.keiththompsonart.com.
23. Gregory House, the character.
24. Pink Floyd. Amazing music, but you knew that already.
25. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley; my favourite book ever. Really wanna watch the film.
26. My favourite colours. /fail
27. Nazism. I'm not a Nazi or anything, I'm just fascinated by the story behind it. Also, they had the coolest uniforms ever.
28. Dr Josef Mengele/human experimentation/twins/etc. I am now apparently called Mengele at my school because I'm fascinated by this stuff.
29. The Matrix.
30. The Doors. This is the first band I became true fan of; I think I was ten when my mum bought me "The Very Best of The Doors."
31. =Shinerai 's art.
32. Hitchcock's films. Pure brilliance.
33. Celtic mythology.
34. Old Norse mythology. Always been interested in it; I read a 500-page book about it when I was eight.
35. Ireland. Culture, music, history, etc.
36. The character Death from the Sandman comics (see #14).
As for what I didn't include:
XKCD
Various animals (dinosaurs, dragons, snakes, lizards, cats, wolves, coyotes, dingoes, lynx, tigers etc.)
Blood/gore
Math
Quantum Physics
Space/the universe/existence
Watchmen (but then again, that kinda goes under V for Vendetta)
Animal Crossing: Wild World (this is what inspired me to draw and as such it's ironic and sad that I didn't include it, but alas, it doesn't inspire me anymore.)
Don Rosa
Cyberpunk
WWII (but that goes under Nazism)
Psychedelia, trippy music n' shit.
The idea of chaos and order and such.
Drugs. (MDMA, LSD, etc.)

You read a 500-page book when you were EIGHT? Wow. My first "real" book was Eragon, and I was 12. Before that, I just read comics.

I learnt to read fairly early, heh Probably partly due to reading an extensive amount of comics at... Just about all times of the day, haha.

Yeah, I learn to read like, when I was six. My mom helped me at home when I came of the school, so I learned fast. I was a child so, books without images were boring and non-sense to me. Comics were more fun. xD
