Today, I got drawing-fever and wanted to make something that had some kind of purpose. Then, this idea came up in my head. Some people have talked about that Katara will bloodbend Zuko and the chances are pretty high. I was thinking of what the consequences could be. Suddenly, it hit me that Aang might be the one who stops her from killing him. He is, after all, the one closest to Zuko, at the moment, and I am pretty certain that Aang does not want him to be attacked, not even from Katara. He has used earthbending to prevent her from moving her arms and is now staring at Katara with a concerning and sad expression. What will be the consequences from this? So many different answers, there can be.Of some reason, this picture feels both right and wrong, at the same time. It's hard to explain why, but that's what I can tell when seeing this.

I made it pretty quick, so the characters may look a bit weird.
P.S. I just made this because it was a nice idea and not because I actually believe this will happen. Speculating is not my style, okay?

THEORY TIME (oh yeah):
Ep. 316: The Southern Raiders.
I'm betting anything the 2nd major villan we meet this season is the man who murdered Katara and Sokka's mother.
I'm also betting Katara will try to kill him.
I reasonably see (in order of possibility) these people trying to stop her:
1. Zuko- Because he has a 'mother' story arc too. And he knows the feeling of wanting to kill the man who took his own mother away. Lastly, I'm guessing that Zuko doesn't believe in murderous revenge. It's probably not worth it to go through life having Killed someone for revenge. If Zuko gets in the way, it's likely that Katara will blood bend the crap out of him to channel her rage at losing an oppertunity. Aang saves Zuko's ass. Katara will break down. She'll either show gratitude later to Zuko, or be even furtherly pissed at him. It's a kid's show so I'm betting she'll be pissed/shocked then forgiving.
2. Aang- Because he likes Katara. Other than that, I'm not sure if there's a major plot point that could be held in that (considering it could get him on Katara's bad side)
3. Sokka/Toph:
Sokka- Because it's his mother too, and he's likely just as pissed.
Toph- Because she'd be able to earth 'cage' katara if the other's were in shock.
Perhaps (and what might be best) is if they all try stopping her, she blood bends the crap out of all of them in a fit of rage, maddening frenzy, blood lust etc. And either choice 1. or 2. talks her out of it.
*can totally see Zuko Frozen to a tree A La Jet in Jet and Aang and Sokka A La The Puppet Master*

Your ideas are pretty good. All of them has a possibility for happening, though; there might come up some new information that will filter away some of the alternatives or even change the outcome, in the upcoming episodes. Still, everything is just speculation until it's out.
I will discuss a bit more, when I have the time.

I think this could really happen in the show and I hope Aang will protect Zuko when it does. Otherwise I'd be very sad to see something bad happening to poor Zuzu.

Yeah. Still, this is just a speculation, so let's hope that I'm wrong about this, though; it might be interesting to see what would happen between Katara and Aang, if this occurs. Maybe their relationship needs it? Well, we will never know, until that time comes.
