Description
Springtrap sat in the burned out remains of Fazbear’s Fright, desperately clutching the tattered remains of his one true love, Fredbear.

“What have I done,- *zzzt* -Goldie? I let myself- *zzzt* -become a monster… Why won’t you- *zzzt* -talk to me? Why won’t you move?!”

He pressed his forehead to the empty and immobile suit.

“Why am I alive and you aren’t? Its not- *zzzt* -fair! I don’t want to be alone, Goldie…”

A dark chuckle came from beside Springtrap and as he looked up he could see the faint purple glow of the spirit that had just exited him.

“Oh, come on Springy. You know you’re not alone in all this!”

The murderer’s spirit flourished his arms dramatically and held them out, gesturing to what was left of Fazbear’s Fright.

“Shut up! This is- *zzzt* -your fault! All of it- *zzzzt* -is!”

“Now now, your twitches get worse when you get upset, Trashtrap.”

“Stop calling me- *zzzt* -names! I’m Spring Bonnie!”

The spirit’s tone becomes angry and he puts his face in Spring’s.
“You haven’t been Spring BONNIE since the day I died in you!”

Springtrap shook his head. “That’s not- *zzzt* -true! Just leave us- *zzzt* -alone!”

He clutched Fredbear tighter to himself. He’d tried to put his old friend back together but he couldn’t find all the missing pieces. They had both been left to decay and where Springtrap was in mostly one piece, Fredbear had been taken apart, his pieces scattered to who knows where. For the first time in his existence, Springtrap had begun to actually cry, a feat he thought not possible given his animatronic status. He rocked back and forth as he held Fredbear to his chest.

“Why won’t you p-please- *zzzt* -just w-wake up?...”

The purple ghost’s expression softened and he placed an ethereal hand on Springtrap’s shoulder.
“I don’t think he’s going to…Look, I’m sorry, okay? You need to let him go, he’s not going to come to like you did.”

“You don’t- *zzzt* -know that! I put him- *zzzt* -back together, I even took- *zzzt* -pieces from the others just so I could- *zzzt* -have him.”

He looked up at Purple tearfully. “I love him…Why am I not- *zzzt* -allowed to be with the- *zzzt* -one I love?”

The murderer’s ghost removed his hand from Springtrap’s shoulder, unsure of what to say. “I don’t know…Ugh! Why am I feeling any sympathy towards the contraption that killed me?!”

Springtrap turned away and pressed his face against Fredbear’s shoulder. “Maybe because some part of- *zzzt* -you is still human?”

The ghost let out an almost cruel laugh. “Right, after what we just did to that guard, I don’t think either of us has any humanity left.”

Springtrap made a pained noise. “I don’t want to think about- *zzzt* -what we did… What we did is horrible- *zzzt* -but I was just so angry…”

He turns Fredbear’s body to face him. “I was just so angry- *zzzt* -Goldie…”

Fredbear stirred slightly and Springtrap’s eyes widened.

“Huh, maybe I was wrong…” The purple murderer said as he vanished back into Springtrap.

“G-Goldie?”

Fredbear groaned slightly. “Spring?...”

Springtrap hugged him tightly. “You’re awake! Oh thank the- *zzzt* -heavens you’ve finally- *zzzt*-woken!”

Fredbear slowly sat up a bit more and returned Springtrap’s embrace.

“What happened? Where are we? What’s going on? Oh Springy, your face, you’re so torn up!”

He sat back slightly and placed his own tattered hand against Springtrap’s face.
“Oh…I’m torn up too…” He said.

Springtrap seemed to smile as he leaned into Fredbear’s hand, using his own to cover it as he nuzzled.

“There’s a lot we need to talk about- *zzzt* -my love but for now, I’ve been without- *zzzt* -you for too long. I just want to be in your- *zzzt* -arms.”

Fredbear happily obliged his beloved’s request and held him tightly. He hadn’t been awake in years and wondered if Spring Bonnie had been awake for very long and if he had, he couldn’t imagine the pain of not having his darling awake with him.

Springtrap knew he would have to tell Fredbear everything. About the childrens’ deaths, about the pizzeria and the haunted attraction, about the dead man inside of him whose spirit he was sure to meet but for now, in this moment, none of it mattered. For all he cared, they were back up on stage together, singing and playing their songs for the children. The warmth and love he felt radiating from his precious Fredbear was all he needed in the world, the rest could wait until later.
