More JoeyxMai stuff...I'd imagine Mai was in a total wreck after going evil, betraying her friends, Joey losing his soul to the Orichalcos seal, la dee daa.....! A hot mess I tell ya.
So after everything, here is her Light in Shining Armor to show her the way back. Leaving the darkness behind and stepping back into the light.

Mai wanted to improve her power, so she made the mistake of turning to Dartz for power.
I know she only wanted to have better battle skills, but this resulted in Dartz turning Mai into a mean piece of work by brainwashing her (I need to find the episode where Mai is brainwashed by the seal being placed on her forehead) and putting her under the control of the seal, making her become power-hungry and very cold towards her friends
Is it true that Mai doesn't see her friends again after she is freed from her control, and spends the remainder of her time in the series feeling sorry for herself and so deep in regret over what happened she can't face up to them and thus leaves the show quietly
