Man, every time I'd go through this game on the Hidden Mansion (slightly more difficult version after you beat the game, but more treasure), I'd save and quit before this fight to do it on the regular mansion, cause I'd die otherwise. :C

Oh just wait until you see the 3ds remake, hidden mansion mode on the remake is much worse, but the battle with boolossus wasn't difficult, it's like the same difficulty as the normal mansion mode

Yeah, I did that once or twice as well. I think towards the end, what you're SUPPOSED to do is click L all the way to shoot that ice chunk from afar. I'm not sure, but I also think there was a book in Neville's (the book father) room that gave hints about doing some of the bosses in the game, and I think Boolossus was one. .__.'

Every time I play the game on the Hidden Mansion version, I always save, quit, and go back to doing the regular mansion when I hit this spot. I actually DIED on this several times on the Hidden Mansion. :C
