Description
Paris knew for the longest that she was genderfluid but never had a chance to dress the part. Most of life she was a pageant girl so she didn't have the time but now since she's an adult she can do what she pleases. She's not sure how to tell her friends, family, or Darce but she will one day.Follow my Instagram @instagram.com/decayed.legends/

I can relate My mom flipped out when I wanted a guy's shirt for the first time years ago. Only now that I'm (legally) an adult is she somewhat getting used to it.

Oh wow, I'm glad it worked out well for you because some people's parents (like Paris's mom) would have a fit, but I could relate myself for prom I want to wear a suit.

How'd that go down with your parents? If I wanted a suit, I think my mom would be disappointed and keep asking me, "You're sure you don't want to wear a gown?"
You should have seen it when I told her I didn't want a senior ring.

Well it hasn't happened yet but when i told them my dad didn't have a problem but my mom was a little disappointed, because both my sister had fabulous gowns and dates. Mom asked me "What my date would wear, if I'm wearing the suit." and I told her "We could both wear suits." but that's what I wanted to do for the longest since middle school so it shouldn't be much as a surprise to them, and i could only imagine over a senior ring wow what did she do?

Well, she tried reassuring me that we could afford it, but I told her that I don't really like rings to begin with and it's probably going to get lost anyways (it did eventually, but not on purpose).
Then she was all like, "Well, why don't we just flip through the catalog and see?"
She thinks that she got me interested in the ring, but I only said I wanted it because she was dead set on giving it to me.
I'll even admit, it was depressing designing the ring, because I wasn't in any clubs or organizations. I just went to school and went home. Flipping through the catalog was like saying, "Oh, look at all of these experiences high school had to offer that I wasn't a part of." It was probably one of the most painful processes I've ever been through. -_-;

Oh wow that's tough, guess your mom thought that it would make your high school experience complete.

Yeah. I guess I'm not as materialistic. Like, I'm going to remember the four years I spent there. I don't need a ring to signify it.
That's also why my graduation ceremony was a drag. No magic to that night, nor tears of joy or anything. Just stress and sweat...
