You know me, Dove. I detest 'love' and romance. Nothing but hormones, Stockholm syndrome and the desire to perpetuate the species. And I am bitter...very, very bitter. I've never had a heart, so it's never been broken, but I've seen enough disasters to accept it's absence as the same token that love does not exist and that pain is the end result. But life is pain. So no matter what you do or don't do, who you do or don't do, you're screwed anyway. I laugh at all of it. Life's a laugh and death's the joke it's true. Comedy is the finest cruelty life can dish out because you never even notice it.
(I am so NOT going to use the phrase like lambs to the slaughter. Like seriously? have you ever tried wrangling a lamb? HARD AS HELL).
