UPDATE: I want y'all to know that this post pissed off a couple of AI sympathizers, which means that I'm obviously doing the right thing and fighting the good fight. Honestly, I could care less if I lose a couple of followers over this, so long as the message gets all across the board. Let's keep at it, fellow human artists!

Let's just get to the point! AI-generated art is a parasite that is ruining and destroying the livelihoods of many artists, those of us who work our butts off every day to create and post content - not just for our enjoyment, but for the enjoyment of everyone who likes seeing the content as well.

AI does none of that. All you do is type in whatever you set your mind to, and it does the work for you. It's lazy, it's stupid, and you accomplish nothing out of it. Nothing except a massive loss, and a gut punch from karma itself.

When you steal our art, you steal our blood, sweat and tears, our passion to create. You are the reason some of us are forced to hole ourselves up and never want to share our art again. You are the reason we never want to create anything. Because when you steal our art, you steal our lives. And when you do, you decide to have the absolute gall to tell us why you won't share our art anymore. Why we lock out future content behind a paywall.

Because you're nothing but a hypocrite. A hypocrite who doesn't deserve to call themselves an artist! Especially when you decide to call up an AI to generate a "pretty" image that you stole from us, and claim it as your own. Because that isn't art; it's laziness and hypocrisy. It's proof that you are nothing more than an art thief sympathizer.
