Eon travels to different dimensions where he exists to force them under his control, if his extradimensional counterparts fail, he replaces them with robotic versions of himself as 'perfect' Eons. He is also the Supreme Leader of the Universe of the 40th century, and had been so ever since the 28th, but his haste to take over the universe backfired on him as he learned of an army that rose during that time that could loosen his control over the universe, he failed to defeat this army and doomed his time during the 40th century to endless rebellions and the presence of a relentless Time Policeman going simply by the name of 'Meantime' trying to take apart Eon's rule. As such, he has been led to believe that during the 26th century, the rise of Trident of Revelation and their subsequent exploits were what inspired the army of the 28th century, so in turn if he could destroy Trident of Revelation and rewrite the timeline in his favour, he could not only gain control of that army and the technologies they discovered, but he could rule the universe even earlier. Eon knows that if he ever fails, he can simply either reverse the timeline or he from either an earlier point or from another timeline will come and undo what made him fail in the first place.

After a certain chain of events that led to a massive universal invasion of the Flood by the Elder Gravemind, a perfect incarnation of every Gravemind and Flood Intelligence that has ever existed in the mid-27th century, the universe was in absolute peril, with worlds and empires and alliances failing to support one another, the Elder Gravemind had destroyed all the Halo Rings and totally obliterated the Ark, and had taken over the Star Forge where the Ark was built, in addition, any artefacts or weapons that would be useful against the Flood seemed to be all gone, or under their control. With no other option, a Hakkorian Ancient Human Eclipse Soldier named Kharon Andlax and a Modern Human member of the Spartan XVI Program named Spartan-7379 Ruby Sel both worked together to find a way to help in the time of great need, as all things fell apart around them, the duo travelled across the vast reaches of space and found the so-called Fragment of Divinity as named by the old Covenant which fell millennia ago, this Fragment was in fact an unstable Forerunner Slipspace Flake which was hidden away as destroying it would risk ripping apart space-time. The duo used it to travel to Haven, a massive planetary body in the Andromeda Galaxy where survivors of the Forerunner population had gathered thousands of years ago and made a new civilisation. Though this was not the only one. Kharon and Ruby both told the government of Haven of the issue, and they told them that they knew of this, and that a human had once come to Haven also seeking guidance before. In time, Haven was convinced to take up arms alongside all other surviving Forerunner civilisations across the universe and help to destroy the Flood threat.

Conquest-of-Time was one of the many soldiers who took up arms and vowed to fight for the good of all things. Conquest always believed that his name was ridiculous, but assumed that he was given it because his parents believed in his great power and cunning. Conquest witnessed the heroics of the Eclipse and Spartan soldiers directly, and became a member of their team. He fought alongside them in many campaigns and in the final battle, Conquest was the one who slew the Elder Gravemind before it devoured the UNSC Noah, the biggest UNSC starship which was collecting people from all devoured worlds. Conquest had used the Fragment of Divinity in a personally-engineered cannon which ripped apart the Elder Gravemind and made it into nothing more than a few irreversible pieces of scattered atoms and cosmic energy across the multiverse.

Conquest-of-Time was hailed as a hero alongside Kharon, Ruby and other members of the team. The events which unfolded managed to bring the universe together and the perfect utopia of Maethrillian described by several individuals throughout time finally returned as Maethrillian itself was restored.

Conquest participated in many victory parades, celebrations and massive broadcasts across the universe, earning him quite the reputation as his personality seemed to be so likeable. Truly, as a war hero, Conquest was the perfect public figure. This point in his life would be when he would develop his inflated ego, though people in general hailed him as being 'deserving' of it.

Decades passed and few wars ever took place again, peace reigned supreme at last, but Conquest-of-Time began to study the Fragment of Divinity in order to better understand it, and as he learned of its effects on time, space and reality, he decided that he was going to create a time machine to replace lost time devices like the Enigma of Time from it in order to better monitor the future and the past and assure nothing would threaten this age of utopia as it had been eons ago. Conquest's time machine was used to travel to the future, but he saw little due to the prototype staging of his equipment, all he was able to gather was that a leader in government had gone mad with power and taken control of the universe as a dictator. Determined to stop this, Conquest worked on discovering who this would be as soon as he was forced to return to his time. He improved his time machine and studied every politician and every person that could possibly end up becoming or being related to this dictator. Unfortunately for him this meant he became more detached from people as he tried to connect 'too much' as he seemed to be losing sight of the true meanings of life. Conquest grew agitated and paranoid that literally anybody could be this mystery dictator, and he felt that the only person who could stop this future would be himself.

Conquest sought a simpler name for himself and gave himself the nickname 'Eon' as to be more easily identified. Eon served in several political science fields, he joined and left many movements and governmental organisations, but failed to gain anybody's trust as he was trying to get an idea of who the culprit was too quickly.

In order to help him, Eon decided that he needed to take the law into his own hands as he illegally built robots controlled by dangerous aquatic, bioluminescent, electrovoltaic microorganisms called Voltaria which he used in order to operate robotic bodies that would be programmed to study people and consider all alternatives. Eon spread his robots across many different timestreams using his time machine as well and by the 28th century, he still hadn't figured it out. He decided that he was literally the only border between freedom and tyranny, as nobody that he spoke to about his discovery believed in him. Eon went on a massive campaign trail in order to secure public support, and did this for years. Eon had support and it was clear that he was going to become the new leader soon, but with the staunch opposition of his rival, Eon called in a favour from his robots, which he christened 'The Chronex' his robots were meant to study all his behaviours in secret and come up with a way to incriminate him. Eon learned that this leader had become quite clingy and mad with power and was not ready to lose to him. Eon uncovered some of his rival's writings and released them to the public. Public opinion of his rival dived to lower lows than ever before and Eon became the new leader of the free universe. From that day forth he declared that he would do his best to stop anyone from becoming power mad and falling to darkness and sin for his whole tenure.

Ironically, Eon ended up witnessing problems and problems that made him look like an irresponsible leader, and as people protested against him, he refused to let go of his power, believing that there was still no way to assure that the dictator of the future would not emerge. Eon himself became power-mad and overnight the universe became his dictatorship as the Chronex were revealed, then on he conquered all of space and became the single most powerful man in the universe.

All because he believed that he was stopping some power-mad ego maniac. HMMMMM.

Naturally, as every action has a reaction, the universal masses rebelled against him and used slogans that Eon recognised from centuries ago, slogans used by Trident of Revelation which he had heard stories about when he was a resident of Haven. These rebellions at first appeared crushed under his military might, but Eon failed to realise that there were many rebellions of the same identity being birthed everywhere around him. Determined to stop them from undoing all his hard work, Eon set himself on a quest to destroy them. Unfortunately for him, a seemingly solitary time policeman named 'Meantime' has been trying to stop him ever since and has thwarted many of his efforts. This trend of rebellion after rebellion has given Eon sleepless nights, and for a guy who literally forced a scientist named Rain-for-Genius to marry him so he could sleep easier, Eon is having a pretty hard time despite having a 'connection' to someone. Eon began a quest using the Fragment of Divinity to create several Chronex structures on planets in the Solar System in order to monitor timestreams and simulate outcomes, futures, pasts and presents in order to prepare and...um...postpare for them? Eon began dimension hopping to practice better, manipulating version of himself from different timelines so he could make them rulers of the universe and establish them in his desireable positions. Those who failed he replaced with robotic versions of himself as 'perfect' Eons. Eon also made sure he could create temporal locks with his machine in order to assure that his adventures in the past do not threaten his current activities in the future.

Eon studies history in person all the time, and has been doing so for ages now. Eon has collected technology, trophies, individuals and ideas from all across time in order to better control his own time, and just to humour him too.

Eon has been trying to find an effective way to destroy Trident of Revelation, but each simulation he has undertaken has failed or backfired, and he has not been able to find a good alternative. So now he monitors all of time, hoping to find the perfect plan to secure his dominance over all of reality.
