((Inspired by the beauty that is Yuyuko from the Touhou series.[link]
Just how BREATHTAKING would that be to see something like that?! You're wandering around in the forest and come upon this giant tree and all of these blue and pink butterflies encircle you with their gentle glow.
I kinda stepped out of my boundaries with this picture to work more on backgrounds and foregrounds and the like. I really like how this turned out overall and I think I got the effect I was going for. ^^ There are several homages to Touhou in this; the butterflies being the main one, but also the paper "hat" around Nago's chest is something Yuyuko wears.

Yes I was waiting for thissss ksdjfslfs It is so wonderful how you did the glowy butterflies, all neon-y and.... I don't even know but it is SO BRIGHT SO VIVID beautiful. :<
My favorite part of this though is the HUGE NAGO

However you did those glow effects I am kind of IN LOVE with it man...I absolutely agree in that what you were going for (or at least what I assumed you were going for given the pretty pretty original images you shared) you achieved it like a gd Olympic gold medalist in the Draw the Most Amazing Thing competition with nothing but concentrated win flowing through her veins The lines are so clean and the wings the wings. And my computer is unfortunately a poop and has a hard time displaying colors anywhere near how they actually look so I am going to have to come back and take a big old gander at this again once I am on the fambly computer at home.
So yes, p. absolutely stunning and I probably don't need to mention how my HEART FEELS ABOUT THIS (though not all the cries are sad ones!!), but excellent work here, Swizz. ;; ]]
