Splash page. this took me quite a while to get right. Really glad i composed it so that the arch of the wall framed the 2 floating characters and the solid black within the arc added much needed depth. When there's so much information in a page, i try keep things clear by establishing a solid black area. A solid white area too, if possible, which is why i left the sewer water at the bottom right. Realistically, it should really have been mainly black, with the strong light source, but i felt i needed an area of solid white to balance the black.

Which won't really matter when it's coloured I just realized as i type this.
