POW!MY first new published work of the year, and the newest since T-Bolts 149. This issue is a Man-Thing spotlight, so there's lots of swampy goodness in it.
Was very happy with my Man-Thing in this issue (yes; you heard me). In my Shadowland issues, I had only figured out how to draw him in the most basic way. Since I knew this issue would be concentrating on him, I really wanted to do my homework, so i bought an old Essential volume and studied how various artists tackled the character. I just took what I though worked best and used those to figure out my own take. It was definitely worth taking the time... now i can comfortably draw him all day.

Thanks man. I thought it was a great script by Jeff. There's a lot of folk out there who know nothing about Man-Thing and i was glad to draw the issue that shone the spotlight on him.

Man-Thing is an interesting character, and Parker has done well with his development in the Thunderbolts. It's an evolution in the right direction, and I hope leads to a few minis, or at least one-shots.

Very nice Declan! The best time I ever had in comics was drawing Manthing for Marvel with DeMatteis writing. Happy days.
