Description
Before you decide to bid on this horse, please ensure you have read all the information regarding the breed. This will ensure your bid is correct as possible and that no mistakes in the future will result in this horse being denied registration.
Please remember that horses must be drawn within 1 month of the winner’s announcement. There is not restriction to your time frame for drawing them after this image, but we would like to see these horses in active homes. Any horse not drawn in the following month will be placed back up for auction. If it is purchased for points, they will not be refunded so purchase wisely, if it is an art bid, you will be informed that the art is being removed from the SWBA gallery and the horse is being reclaimed.
Each horse has a basic personality and history written about it. These are designed to give you a basic idea of the horse and what it has been like during its stay at the sales barn. Horses may be different in their new homes and we would like to see your take on these horses and how they will react to, and settle into their new homes.
Once you have drawn a bid that complies with the above rules, please Comment on its import sheet with a link to your bid. Any bids noted to the group or admin will be ignored. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
* Any number within brackets is the number of a SWB marefamily.
Please remember the Import farm is in Sweden when you write your story. If you want to try the horse(s) you bid on before auction we have very nice guestrooms on the farm (see the map).
Rules for Bidding on an Art Group Import:
No Tracing
No copying the import images pose, we like to see originality in the artwork.
No Graphic or mature themes please.
No bickering or being rude, that will not be tolerated.
Credit references when used.
Full Body images ALWAYS win against portraits.
Include the horses Information, Retyping or rewording personalities into your own information layout is always great to see.
Stories are always a good thing
Backgrounds, improve your chances though don’t need to be complex, throw a tree/fence in there.
Horses should be shown at the correct age or older, though any change in age must be rationalised in the bids description/story.
If the horse is not drawn within a Month of its purchase (not including the art Bid) then the horse will be reclaimed and placed back up for auction.
Be creative, we like people who try new things.
Have fun
Import #11
Name: (You decide official name)
Barn name: Mamy
Gender: Mare (pregnant) (father is IMPORT#05 (Baloo))
Breed: Swedish Warmblood
Age: 13
Height: 16.1 hh/165 cm
Genetics: ee/aa/GG (will always give a greying foal)
Appearance: Fleabitten grey, born chestnut. Strip.
Build: Medium. Somewhat square, but noble and elegante. Expressive head, long neck, welldeveloped wither, somewhat short back and a wellformed croup. Good legs, correct movements. Good, active walk with good energy. Light, wellpaced trot with good hindlegmovements, but somewhat tense (on auctionday) in her back, good rythmic gallop. Overall a chipper mare with a nice 'Schwedengang'.
About this horse: Mamy is a lapdog in horseshape. She adores a good scratch and will lean into you for more. She is best friend with the barncats and you can be sure to at least find one resting on her back at all times. When riding each one starts with she sneezes once or twice, why we don’t know - she is not sick. Sometimes when she is bored and especially now when she is pregnant she can lick the box walls or the pole to where she is tied. Perhaps its some pregnant mare quirk or just her, she have gotten all the extra feed she needs and have been checked by our vet that gave her a clean bill of health. She respects her handler and loves old bread as treats. In the pasture she is the protective one and she don’t mind caring for other mares foals. The perfect nursemare if that would happen. If you should compete her after she had her foal please be aware that she is terrified about anything that make weird crackle noises like cellophane (like the kind that can be around bouquets of flowers) other than that she is a good showhorse. She is the dam of IMPORT #10 (Goliath)
