Dutchess has been entered in mapals Summer Dressage Show so we need to keep up the amazingness !

It was official! Dutchess and Melody had entered in another show. It was good to get to show again, it had been a long time since the pair had competed! (If you count a couple of months long )

She decided to take Dutchess out and prepare for the show. She grabbed the lunge line and her boots and headed out the door. She trudged in the mud and the muck across the pasture and into the barn. Melody lives about 72 steps from the barn. She counted.

Melody finally got to the barn, politely said hi to a very peppy Autumn Rivet who was tacking up Nala who was not as thrilled to see her. She got to her mare stall and Dutchess let out a nicker. Melody stroked her velvet nose and slipped the halter over the mares head. Dutchess obediently followed Melody as she led her out to the empty dressage ring.

She started her off at a trot, following the mares every move with her eyes. Dutchess tossed her head and let out a kick every once in a while, clearly enjoying the beautiful day. She kissed to the frisky mare and Dutchess took off in a gorgeous collected gallop. Melody never really realized how beautiful the mare moved because she was always on top of her! Dutchess snorted and strut her stuff. She loved this mare. SO much
