Guys, I'M BACK

First entry I've done in a long while! Really happy with how it turned out Also when I saw that this competition was held inside of aquatic tanks I was totally in!! (also the squid may or may not be inspired by a scene in finding nemo )

Viv is always so fun to draw She is in her prime now so I'm super excited to do a few more shows with her and kick some butt and make her dad proud! She's got quite the pedigree to uphold!

Melody entered the ring confidently as the now 11yr Vivace had more experience under her belt. She wouldn't have even THOUGHT about bringing this mare a couple years ago. She would've lost her mind! When she was younger she was a bit of a goofy spooky mare but now she has refined into a prestigious young lady. It's like she realized she needed to keep the family legacy of being dangerously good at dressage.

Viv was able to have a few days of warm up in this spooky ring so she was used to all the fluttery fish and the low hum of the filter running. She still would do a double take at the bigger fish but Melody was able to keep her focused. Going around at the extended trot had Melody in awe as usual, she definitely got those beautiful movements passed down in the family tree! At times Melody would wonder if she even touched the ground!

Keeping it in the back of her mind that Viv wasn't the biggest fan of the bigger creatures, she had to keep a watchful eye over the tanks. A turtle would pop up every now and then over the blue lights and Viv perked her ears but kept her eye on the prize. Out of the corner of her eye Mel saw a HUGE squid come up from the depths. HOLY SHI- Melody quickly jiggled the reins around to keep Viv focused on the silver bit in her mouth. Luckily they were headed away from the terrifying creature so she wasn't too worried.

The creature went back into the depths and Mel and Viv finished their test. She gave the sweaty mare a pat on the neck as they exited the huge aquarium. But without fail, as they left the entrance, Viv dashed to the right to avoid being eaten by the swarm of tuna clearly encased in a glass box. As if she wasn't just submerged in one??
