Relationship with other ponies
OC ponies:
Lily: Lily often comes to Midnight Note dancing classes to watch over fillies she's taking care over.
Although Lily can get loud and sometimes distracting, Midnight Note loves when she comes to her classes.
Lily is getting along with the fillies very well, and she's encouraging them to do the best they can.
Night Star:
Glittering Wave: Midnight Note didn't like Glittering Wave at first.
She thought she was too loud and hyped. But Glittering Wave stayed at Midnight Note side, and helped her getting through tough times.
Midnight Note learned to appreciate Glittering Wave, and she now enjoys coming to her when she feels like talking to somepony.
Serena: Serena is probably her best friend! They first met at the spa, and they got along right away! They both care about their look, and they find it really enjoyable to be together.
Serena often comes to Midnight Note when she's in need for help.
Chocolate Savoury: Since Midnight Note loves cakes, she often visits the shop Chocolate Savoury works at.
They became good friends as a result, and they love hanging out together.

Umm her eyes and mane remind me of Celestial. . . Perhaps she is a descendant, or distant ancestor? I think it would be pretty cool either way. I mean, just imagine it!
A dancer of what would one day be Equestria, meeting a handsome young stallion, they fall in love, marry, and have a child, who is later known as the grandparent of Celestial and Luna themselves!
Or, if she is the opposite, a daughter or granddaughter, I imagine something more along these lines . . . At a grand celebration of (insert event here; MLP has a TON to choose from) and a dancing stallion catches Celestia's, no, LUNA'S eye. Whether it's a one-night fling or blossoms into a long-standing love, they end up with Midnight Note.
Or, a child of Luna brings Midnight Note into the world, a descendant or royalty with a passion for the preforming arts!
Oh, the possibilities are endless! I could go on and on!

Since she's a part of my mane 6, I'm trying to create ponies that I can see as canon.
But you're right, the colors are a bit like Celestia. I tried all sort of colors, but those looked the best for me =3
