Thanks for that, I've never thought to use a light background to check the edges before, I always just used black. Though I think using a layer mask would be good incase you miss a mistake you can add it back in easily.
Any tips on cutting when there is hair floating around the face?

I think it was just this image was easy for me xD I have major problems with other images and it looks really weird at times. But I find it easier to use my tablet for some parts like corners.

ah yeah thats true, depending on the image it can turn out really great or really terrible lol but this was all still very useful
