Spencer Street Station is a huge mess due to all the construction. It's disgustingly ugly and I hate it.This photo is really messy and has heaps of lines in it everywhere which is what makes it look good.
It was taken going down the escalator onto the platform. So it got a good shot of a half completed roof and the rafters of an old shelter.

i live out of the city and dont go in much so i ont get to see the stages on the station, but it looks better nad wrose from the last time i saw it, and its weird coz im used to it being the same it was when i was little.
but anyway, good shot

I love the lines of light and the busyness it brings to the picture. And yeah, spencer st has been dog ugly for too long. But on the upside, I never had to pass the station anyway on the way to rmit, and sure as hell don't on the way to swinburne. So I can't complain too much.
Should look awesome once it's done, if you've seen the artists' impressions of it.

Spencer Street station is the first thing after the airport most tourists see and it sucks because Melbourne has lots of beautiful things. Spencer Street station ruins like, 3 city blocks of it!
It would be quicker for me to get to the other side of the city by changing at Spencer Street instead of Flinders, but I avoid Spencer Street cause it sucks balls... though when it's done, it will be 10x better than any of the loop stations or Flinders.
I wish I could take some photos in the loop, but they ban it for some reason.
